ACTA in a Nutshell –

What is ACTA?  ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. A new intellectual property enforcement treaty being negotiated by the United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada recently announcing that they will join in as well.

Why should you care about ACTA? Initial reports indicate that the treaty will have a very broad scope and will involve new tools targeting “Internet distribution and information technology.”

What is the goal of ACTA? Reportedly the goal is to create new legal standards of intellectual property enforcement, as well as increased international cooperation, an example of which would be an increase in information sharing between signatory countries’ law enforcement agencies.

You were born during a Waxing Gibbous moon. This phase occurs right after a full moon. You love to let people in on the story of how things come together. You know the background of ideas and have a deep understanding of things others just touch the surface of. You can surprise people with your wide variety of knowledge, and they'll remember and appreciate you for it. http://spacefem.com/quizzes/moon

Look at me go!

Go me! I just responded to comments from my Christmas post. I'm on a roll. *facepalm*

Seriously, I'm sorry about that guys. The extreme tired from the fact that my body does not seem to want to store iron properly continues, although hopefully it's getting properly addressed now. I'd like to try and blog more this year. (Does reblogging on Tumblr count? Cuz I've been doing a lot of that.)

Studied my social media strategy stuff this morning, so I've been playing around on Tumblr and trying to get caught up on the UK's Being Human this afternoon. That show's intense and I can't mainline it like other shows. It'll have to be done in chunks. But Mitchell is prettier than I remember, and Annie less annoying. I'm cheered by this turn of events.

Good luck, Packers! You only have to hold out for one more quarter. (No, I'm not watching the game; I'm watching a romcom on the Hallmark channel instead. But I'm checking in.)
